What is Fibrophos

Fibrophos is an environmentally friendly, renewable, concentrated PK fertiliser consisting of phosphate, potash, sulphur, magnesium, calcium, sodium and significant quantities of essential trace elements required by crops and grass to achieve high yields.

Fibrophos is totally natural as it is derived from poultry litter from cereal fed chickens, which is incinerated at state-of-the-art power stations, producing green electricity for Britain. The resulting ash is a safe, pathogen free, environmentally friendly and agronomically effective fertiliser containing all the plant nutrients (except nitrogen) which were present in the grain based poultry feed.

It’s use as a fertiliser replaces phosphates and potash which are costly on the environment to mine and import.

Fibrophos provides Phosphate (P2O5) and Potash (K2O) in both immediately available and long lasting forms, providing plant nutrients throughout the growing season & replenishing soil fertility.
Fibrophos is a unique modern fertiliser that replaces nutrients in a similar ratio to those removed by the growing crop.
Trial results show Fibrophos to be as effective as TSP and MOP in most growing situations across a wide range of soil types.
The Phosphate in Fibrophos is shown by trials to not only quickly release as the crop requires it but goes on working beyond the first year.
Trial results on grassland show Fibrophos to be a very effective source of P&K - in the first year of application - and extending over three years.
Potash and Magnesium are contained in balance, reducing risk of grass staggers.
Contains Calcium and Sulphur, helps maintain pH & soil structure, maximises the uptake of Nitrogen and protein synthesis.
Sodium will improve the palatability of grass an help maintain healthy pastures.
It is ideally tipped on a hard, free draining surface, just prior to time of application. It is not easily affected by normal rainfall while standing.
